My new table!!

I'm THRILLED on how this turned out. I was really skeptical when I started modge podge-ing it. I was actually getting super frustrated. I had some antique music paper and put it to good use. (don't worry.. I already have this piece somewhere else...) So after seeing the paper bubble up everywhere, I left my project for a while because I wasn't sure what to do. But, I waited it out and added several more layers of modge podge and finished it with one layer of a polyurathane for an 'antique' look and VOILA!!! Check out the transformation....

I first painted it 'celery' green from the original white that it was...

I bought this at a yard sale last weekend for $5. I'm still debating what I'm going to do with it.. I bought some light green paint, that I'm toying with.. or.... any suggestions?

So.. I'm currently on the hunt for a mini dresser or a nightstand because I'm dying to decoupage it. Here's my inspiration. I saw it on a blog not too long ago and I think I've figured out how to copy it. How cute is this??

Newest project

I picked up this antique 2 drawer dresser at a yard sale over the weekend. Paid $15 dollars for it!!! It's got some chips at the top and it's in desperate need of a makeover. It begins tomorrow... Will be replacing the knobs too. Here are some pics.

Craigslist Cabinet

I found this cabinet on craigslist and I decided to redo it as a telephone/kitchen table. I did 2 layers of primer, then white paint.. I also added more of that ballard wallpaper that was left over from my cabinets in the back...then I lightly distressed it with black paint around the edges. Here are the before/afters...
